Vancouver downhill gold medalist Lindsey Vonn suffered a nasty crash at the Alpine World Championships in Schladming, Austria Tuesday. A doctor speaking on behalf of the team reported significant damage to ligaments in Vonn’s right knee, which will apparently require surgery. The Sochi Olympics Opening Ceremony is Feb. 7, 2014.
