Well if public transportation is a the main issue for Pittsburgh, bring it to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. The LCTA, Posten Taxi, and all the others will be up to the tax! Even Lolley the Trolley will pitch in for sure!

I live in Pittsburgh and there is NO WAY that this city could handle it. The public transportation is horrendous and downtown turns into a ghost town after 6pm. There is absolutely nothing to do and that's why people tend to live around the city (where there are places to go and things to do) as opposed to in it. The IOC could do much better than here.

Pittsburgh, definitely. They have enough athletic fields, public transportation, a new international airport, rivers, lakes and whitewater for all the events. Plus a friendly, multi-cultural population.

Just DO NOT award coverage to NBC! No more Mary Carreras and BobCostas! No more minimal coverage of only American-only Athletes! UGH! Let a network cover the Olympics who can truly do justice to the Olympic sports, athletes, spirit and the host city.
