One thing interesting about his story is him claiming he’d been in bed and thought she was, as well. Don’t they have neighbors reporting a fight? Was that way earlier than the shooting, or is he going to claim it was just a quiet night at home and everybody turned in early?

He hears a sound in the bathroom, gets out of bed and brings in a fan from the balcony (how’d he get there if his prosthetics were NOT on?), grabs a gun and goes to the bathroom door (with or without prosthetics, the story keeps changing). Also, how many criminals breaking into house LOCK THE BATHROOM DOOR BEHIND THEM? Looking for a little privacy while taking a leak?

This guy’s story is so full of holes it’s not even funny. None of it adds up to what he claims in his affidavit.

He hears a sound from a bathroom and assumes it’s a break-in and the burglar has locked himself inside the bathroom. He’s panicked despite the fact he’s holding a gun. And without asking who’s in the bathroom fires multiple times through the door at somebody he hasn’t even seen. All this at a house that’s in a gated community protected by security guards. And his excuse for not checking if it was his girlfriend is he thought she was in bed…because you’d never confirm where your loved ones were at before firing a gun through a closed bathroom door in your own home.
