When Lindsey Vonn’s ‘scary’ crash happened at the Alpine World Championships in Austria, it was a sight that’s familiar to most skies. But that doesn’t make it any less shocking.

Tina Maze, who eventually won Tuesday’s super-G, saw Vonn’s fall from the bottom of the slope. This was her reaction.

Per Alex Goldberger of NBC, doctors confirmed a significant ligament injury that will require surgery.
